Its tough to pass up a sunny, dry day in the Pacific Northwest…this is especially true October through June. Thanksgiving day was just one of those days not to pass up, it was clear, cold but dry. Dinner was at my parents house in North Bend, I had it set in my mind that I would ride from Downtown Seattle UP to North Bend. The route I had in mind required going up three steep long hills, this included Yesler from Downtown Seattle to Capitol Hill, Issaquah-Fall City Rd & the biggest one of all 202 up to Snoqualmie Falls.My goal was to make it in three hours without freezing my ass off. Door to door the ride took 3:07:37, this included tow stops for gels progress text messages. I was warm & felt great the entire way, the total milage was 39.5 miles.
